These compostable drinking straws are made with genuine wood pulp but still offer the same clear appearance, strength, and durability as a regular straw. Sip Your Favorite Drinks Sustainably
Available in cocktail, jumbo, and giant sizes for cups, tumblers, and whiskey glasses (see above), these BPI-certified compostable straws are individually wrapped and unwrapped, in clear or black. Hence, you can use them at home or for bartending in restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, and more.
Biodegradable Straws & Certifications
Our eco-friendly drinking straws are made from marine and soil biodegradable materials per ASTM D6691. They are TUV AUSTRIA OK compost HOME #S2587 and Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) #10529404 certified to create soil-friendly plant compost. Throw them away in your backyard compost where they’ll disintegrate in weeks to create healthy soil with no remaining microplastics.
Safety, Health, and Environmental Impact
KonzaWare biodegradable straws are free from heavy metals, PFAS, and gluten and maintain a US FDA Clearance for food contact. Additionally, a portion of every purchase also helps plant trees and provides university scholarships in sustainability.
